INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced the preseason polls for women's volleyball on Monday, August 25th. The preseason poll is selected by the conference's head coaches, who per GLVC bylaws, are not allowed to vote for their respective teams.
The Bearcats tallied up a total of 82 points which landed them the eighth-place spot in the preseason polls, 9 points in front of ninth-place Drury University (73 points) and 2 points behind seventh-place University of Illinois-Springfield (84 points). The eighth-place marking is an improvement from last year's preseason ranking where the team was picked to finish ninth.
Head Coach Miranda Rodriguez is returning Senior Outside Hitter, Destiny Gray, Senior Libero, Ashlyn Berczynski, Sophomore Middle Blocker, Avery Guisinger, Sophomore Outside Hitter, Paige Parant, Redshirt Sophomore Middle Blocker, Cayden DeSantiago, and Redshirt Freshmen Setter, Lexi Hoffman. Rodriguez also added nine freshmen and three transfers to her roster for this season.
McKendree starts their 2025 season at home on Thursday, September 4th-Saturday, September 6th as they host the McKendree Invitational.
