PEORIA, Ill. – The McKendree Men's cross-country competed at the Bradley intercollegiate meet on Friday September 19th at Detweiller Park. The team finished with a score of 380 which earned them 12th place at the meet.
The top runner of the day was Diego Paz-Denis who finished with a new personal best time of 26:58.20, finishing 48th in the event. Coming in next for the Bearcats was Blake Westrater and Reed Florey with times of 27:39.90 and 28:21.20, finishing in 69th and 99th place respectively. Concluding the scoring for McKendree was Elijah Baer and Adriano Brown, finishing in 153rd and 174th with times of 30:01.30 and 31:02.00 respectively.
Ending the competition for the Bearcats is Brenton Good, Ostin Habeck and Thor Gavin with times of 31:41.90, 32:25.60 and 33:47.40, finishing in 185th, 199th and 216th place respectively.
The team finished only 18 points behind Maryville (362) and 12 points in front of Greenville (392).

The McKendree cross-country team will be traveling to Columbia, Missouri to compete in the Gans Creek classic, hosted by the University of Missouri.
