Christian Herluf collected back-to-back Defensive Player of the Week awards following a two shutout weekend, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. The Bearcats (RV) played to a 0-0 draw against Truman State on October 13 while defeating Upper Iowa, 2-0, on October 15. The honors are Herluf's third of the season.
The Bearcats and Herluf, who sit at 7-1-5 overall and 5-1-3 in the GLVC, tallied a fourth-straight shutout with the two weekend performances and added four points in the league standings. Herluf, who has garnered two other weekly awards this fall, captured his third with six saves over the weekend while tallying his sixth and seventh shutouts of the campaign. The Odder, Denmark-native continued to lower his goals allowed average with his outings, now sitting at 0.54 to rank fourth in the GLVC and 12th in NCAA Division II. Overall, Herluf also ranks in nationally in goalie minutes with 1170 over 13 games (t-6th) and save percentage at 0.781 (39th).

McKendree is off for its final regular season road trip, heading to Quincy on October 20 and Illinois Springfield on October 22. The Bearcats return home to finish out their regular season slate, facing Southwest Baptist on October 27 and Drury on October 29.
