LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University women's soccer, the 19th-ranked team in the nation, completed a program first over the weekend with the first-ever undefeated regular season after going 12-0-5 (8-0-4 GLVC) with two draws in its final weekend. McKendree women's soccer program was incepted in 1996 and was then taken over in 1999 by current 24-year head coach Tim Strange. With the unbeaten season, the Bearcats remained in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll at 19 while earning the number two seed in the Great Lakes Valley Conference women's soccer tournament this upcoming weekend. McKendree also sits as the sole unbeaten program in the NCAA Midwest Region.

GLVC TOURNAMENT

No.19 McKendree women's soccer earned the No.2 seed in the Great Lakes Valley Conference women's soccer championship tournament on October 30-November 6.

The Bearcats will host the GLVC Quarterfinal round at home as a top-4 seed, playing Indianapolis on Sunday, October 30 at 12 PM at Leemon Field.
