A four-year starter at forward, Amy helped rewrite the McKendree women’s basketball record books. She is the Bearcat’s all-time leader in scoring (2,245 points), rebounding (1,107 rebounds) and field goals (995), and is the only player in the program’s history to score more than 2,000 points. Amy also holds McKendree women’s basketball single-season records with 704 points, 327 rebounds, 310 field goals and a field goal percentage of .541. During her four years, Amy led McKendree to an overall record of 72-58, including an impressive 32-8 mark in American Midwest Conference play. She was instrumental in helping the Bearcats to their first two NAIA Division I National Championship appearances in 1998 and 1999.

In addition to receiving first-team All-Conference honors in each of her four years, Amy was named the AMC Freshman of the Year in 1997 and followed that by earning AMC Player of the Year honors as a sophomore in 1998. She also received AMC Academic All-Conference honors four times and was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete in 1999 and 2000. Amy was named to the NAIA Kodak All-America squad following her senior season.
