Amy Quirin Kremmel

Amy Quirin Kremmel was one of the most dominant pitchers in McKendree University softball history during her four-year career as a Bearcat. She was a part of a McKendree program that won 128 games from 2006-09 and advanced to the NAIA National Championships in 2009.
 
During her freshman season in 2006, Amy posted a 28-12 record with a 1.60 ERA in the circle. She set numerous single-season school marks in 2006, among them being most wins (28), most appearances (43), most starts (34), most complete games (33), most innings pitched (262.2) and most strikeouts (244). For her efforts in 2006, Amy was named a First-Team American Midwest Conference (AMC) selection, a First-Team NAIA All-Region V selection and a Second-Team NAIA A!l-American. 

As a sophomore in 2007, she posted a 14-7 record and a 1.58 ERA in the circle. In 133 innings, she struck out 107 batters and tossed 14 complete games and six shutouts en route to earning First-Team All-AMC honors and a First-Team NAIA A!l-Region V accolades. 

During her junior year campaign in 2008, she went 9-9 with a 1.85 ERA and tossed 17 complete games and three shutouts. Additionally, she recorded 128 strikeouts in 136.1 innings of work en route to earning First-Team All-AMC honors. 

As a senior in 2009, she posted a 14-8 record and a 1.88 ERA and tallied 140 strikeouts, which are ninth on the school's single-season chart and had 20 complete games and three shutouts for the Bearcats that won 30 games and captured its second AMC Tournament title in the last three years and earned a spot in the NAIA National Championships for the first time in a decade. In 2009, Amy was a First-Team All-AMC selection for the fourth consecutive season. 

In her four seasons as a Bearcat, she posted a career record of 65-36 with a 1. 71 ERA in 688.0 innings of work. She also tallied 619 strikeouts and recorded 84 complete games and 17 shutouts. 

Amy holds nearly every career pitching record in McKendree softball history as she is the school's all-time leader in wins (65), appearances (115), starts (88), innings pitched (688.0), complete games (84), strikeouts (619), shutouts (17) and is fourth in career ERA at 1. 71. In addition, she is one of two pitchers in school history to have three seasons with 125 or more strikeouts.
