A four-year letter winner for the Bearcats, Todd was a part of Coach Statham's 107 wins between 1990 and 1994. A student of the game, Todd excelled in managing the clock as well as his team. He served as team captain his senior year of 1993-94. His aggressiveness on both sides of the ball translated into his 891 career points scored, and he ranks among career leaders in both assists and steals. Todd registered a single season team record 237 assists as a senior in 1993-94, while his 84 steals that year is third all time for a single season at McKendree. He was named to the American Midwest Conference All Conference team for 1992-93 and 1993-94. He played in two NAIANational Tournaments in 1992 and 1993 and was the recipient of the Vesely Award, Nate Clay Award and Louis Butts Memorial Scholarship. Upon graduation he coached Boy's Varsity Basketball at Triad High School (Troy, IL) where his team won two regional championships and one sectional championship. He was named IBCA Coach of the Year for 2002-03.
