Kevin was the team leader during his junior and senior years, and was the team captain his senior year. Even though he was a big, physical player, Kevin had excellent range and was a tremendous offensive threat. Kevin averaged 17.3 points per game.

Well respected in the NAIA District 20, he was named to the district 20 All-Star team in 1991. He was also named the team’s MVP for his final 1990-91 season. Kevin was an outstanding basketball player, role model for the younger players and a very good student. He was awarded the prestigious Nate Clay award in 1991 which honors a McKendree College athlete who exemplifies the courage, determination and inspiration necessary for success in athletics.
